   Research Interests:

Aging is an extremely complex biological trait and an important risk factor for aging-related diseases. The research direction and content of our group are focused on:

·Aging regulation: Using multi-omics tools, we analyze the regulatory networks of aging in animals and humans from genetic and evolutionary perspectives, and identify the regulatory factors of aging and unique biological traits (such as tumor resistance, extreme environmental adaptation, etc.);

·Aging targets: Using biological models of aging (nematodes, fruit flies, mice or primates, etc.) to tap into intervention targets for aging and related traits and to develop effective interventions;

·Cellular senescence and small-molecule drug development: We use model organisms and aging systems of human cells to study in vivo and vitro intervention strategies targeting senescent cells, providing theoretical and applied basis for anti-aging and extending a healthy lifespan.
